At Nevsta we are aware that sustainability is not just about greener measures and practices, but that it encompasses a more holistic approach, based on a balance between the social, environmental and economic dimensions. For this reason, we have made a long-term commitment to sustainability by implementing actions and good practices that contribute to a more balanced world, always trying to minimize the impact of our operations on the planet, promoting social inclusion and the preservation of natural resources. For this reason:
we promote equality, training, safety and the well-being of our employees and society in general;
we encourage volunteering and partner with non-profit organizations;
we reduce the environmental impact of our operations as much as possible, managing our waste efficiently and opting for cleaner, renewable energies;
we defend and promote the circular economy by reintroducing recycled raw materials into our production cycle, minimizing waste and saving natural resources;
we use manufacturing processes that are more energy efficient and reflect greater savings in resources;
we are committed to developing solutions and products that are fully recoverable and 100% recyclable;
we focus on sourcing local materials to reduce the environmental impact of their transportation;
all effluents and waste resulting from manufacturing processes are sent for recovery by licensed entities;
we prioritize partners who demonstrate a real commitment to sustainability;
all our solutions are manufactured mainly or exclusively with certified materials from chains of custody and forest management responsibility, which include the environmental dimension:
the protection of the forest by rejecting illegal logging activities and the illegal sale of timber or forest products;
materials from areas where traditional, civil or labor rights are respected;
from forest areas where there are no threats from exploitation activities and with high conservation values;
the refusal to use materials from the conversion of natural forests to plantations or non-forest use and from genetically modified trees;
in social and labor terms, we only incorporate materials from suppliers that comply with the United Nations General Assembly's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization's Rights and Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
